Joshua Bletterman.
But my world knows me as JB.
From the Middle School moment I wrote an award-winning short story about playing Sega Hockey with Mr. G. Reaper for my soul — and my teacher asked, “Who are you exactly?” — I’ve been exploring that question.
Degrees in Journalism and Psychology from Rutgers University gave structure to my curiosity and its myriad expressions.
My work with Sports Illustrated for Kids, adidas, R/GA and Nike taught me how to tell stories that resonate — as a conduit to sales. But the more the industry chased clicks, the more I leaned into something deeper.
Like Siddhartha, I stepped away from the lush life to recalibrate, listen harder, and create work that fulfilled me, surpassed expectations and empowered honest self-discovery.
For the next 15 years, I helped individuals and organizations — from blue chip to start up — find, reconnect with, and express their true Identity.
The work is always grounded, idiosyncratic and authentic.
"I feel seen" and "I've been trying to say that for years" and “All of my relationships are better now” became my soundtrack.
My existence illuminated every time.
